Today I watched Gladiator (2000).
It feels like a proto-capeshit movie. The dialogues are dusty, pseudo-profound Tumblr writing, that can be skipped without anything of value in the matters of narrative being lost. The fighting scenes are epilepsy-inducing, incomprehensible clip vomit. The costumes are pretty good, I guess. The locations are a pathetic parody of the classic antiquity. That said, I was pretty entertained, whenever the characters shut up.
Redditors recommended me this amerislop.
