to me the way that bass is being played makes me think its more of a patch/preset than a straight sample. unless it shows up in other artist's tracks also, im inclined to believe carpenter brut made that patch himself
once you pirate some plugins, it might be worth it to find some tutorials that show you how to create a similar-ish growl bass and work from there to get the sound close
