They hyped up this scorched earth shit for like 3 seasons only for it be a 5 minute fight in the white house where any barely any major character die besides frenchie,homelander and butcher. Also Vought still continues to thrive even though butchers entire character arc was trying to take down all supes and vought but who cares I guess.

I think Megamind is one of those movies where there is a very good lesson in the story that's overlooked by everyone, the lesson being that if you give losers and social outcasts great powers they will most likely turn evil and use their powers to do bad things. The greatest example of that is Bill Gates - the ol' demon didn't get laid back in college so now he wants to see the entire world burn.
