So, here's a brief backstory: in 1988, a 14-year-old schoolboy named Vitya was struck by a car right at a crosswalk. He didn't manage to move away in time and suffered the harshest blow. His best friend, Misha, saw this, having decided to tie his sneakers at the beginning of the crosswalk. After losing his best friend, whom he loved with all his heart, he fell into a depressive disorder, and then decided to commit suicide a month later. His body was later found in the bathroom by his 15-year-old older sister, Alisa. Returning to Vita, I’ll say right away that he was in a religious family, where everyone was Christian… so, he is revived by the so-called “False God” in exchange for bringing a new innocent child’s soul every year (He was chosen only because he was too naive and gullible) and his first victim was Misha’s older sister… and I want to clarify that he had a “girlfriend” and this will then affect the plot, then come our main characters: 2003 - Masha and Dasha (both 9, were pressed against the wall by a car to death, the main characters) 2006 - Makar (10 years old, was burned alive because he touched the train wire, the main character) 2007 - Peter and Denis (13 and 12, died of poisoning, opposite characters) 2009 - Lev and Maxim (13 and 10 years old, were hit by a truck while crossing the road on bicycles, main character) 2011 - Marina (16 years old, was killed by Vitya in the forest, the opposite character) and by the way, Vitya in most of the murders used, so to speak, damage to an accident so that he would not be noticed, 2013 - Victor (10 years old, was hit by a car after quarreling with his mother, the opposite character) 2018 - Alina (14 years old, was killed by a terrorist at school, the main character) and finally 2023 (this is the year the main events take place) - Karina (12 years old, was killed by Vitya (who is actually her UNCLE on the family line, Vitya had a 5-year-old brother lol) and drowned in a cold, unfrozen lake right in January, the main and most important character of the whole story)
