It's fine so long as windows doesn't fuck it up during updates, which is pretty common. IMO you should either try linux on a secondary machine like an old laptop or just use a persistent (or not) liveUSB. Tbh for a normie doing normie things, there isn't much of a learning curve with something like Mint so it is entirely possible to jump ship, especially as a NEET. The only things you will have a problem with is learning LibreOffice and setting up a theme if you care. That and hardware related things like overclocking and RGBTQA+ lights if you are a goymer

if you're able to look into a qemu kvm with gpu passthrough do it, really convenient to be able to use windows while still on linux and there were cool setups ive seen iirc otherwise just dualboot it's a lot easier and you can still have the benefits of running on bare metal

Can 'teens rate my part list? For the cpu, I'll get a used one for 900 Romaniabucks instead of 1400 new. Add in a cooler (the used one doesn't have it), and the total is 4100 lei (938 usd) without a case (I also already have an ssd). Hopefully I can find a case that's not needed so I don't have to spend an extra 200 lei/40 usd on one. I'm using an AMD gpu because of Linux.

Grey Hack is a massively multiplayer hacking simulator game. You're a hacker with full freedom to act as you wish on a vast network of procedurally generated computers.
In my own words: a game where you control a simulated VM with a Unix like shell and an own scripting language similar to Python. You can hack a variety of good and bad NPCs to complete missions for ranks and cash but also hack players in the online mode.
