But if you're going to be using a subwoofer (use 2 identical models, just trust me bro), you should go all the way and use speakers too. $5,000 Headphone soundstage isn't even in the same ballpark as a $500 pair of speakers with good directivity and low distortion with some PEQ applied, and if you're using a subwoofer, privacy goes out the window anyway. Headphones do have a place, though. They're great for detail retrieval if you get ones with very little material in front of the driver.

yeah AAA slop and new releases might work, but what about older games? last time I tried running F.E.A.R. on arch I had to reinstall proton 8 times until I finally found a version that somewhat worked
same thing with indie games, most I tried kept crashing no matter what and I doubt the proton community cares about less popular games, they just laser focus on the most played sludge

It's iron. Yes it can run most games better than Windows, but try to play Rust, GTA 5 online, or any other game that has AC. Most games will use more invasive anti cheats in the future, unless anti cheat problem is solved it will never be the year.

Who else has seen this? I spotted this tranny brimstone while browsing the Valve Developer Wiki for information on SteamCMD and on OpenWRT's website for information about routers. Apparently, there's some new company out of Cuckada called Techaro that has started selling an anti-AI scraper tool to organizations like Valve and even UNESCO. Its mascot is some tranime girl and the CEO is some tranny furfag and vtuber who literally goes by Xe as a name and thinks xe looks like her. Xe runs a blog where xey even use fake-schizo alter-egos to represent xerself. Unsurprisingly, Xe also uses Troonsky instead of Xitter because Elon Musk is an evil Chud or something, eve&oe xey are using ChinkTok and Amazon's Twitch anyway. At this rate, Xe will probably be a billionaire with control over the flow of information on the internet someday soon, and will shut down your Steam account if xey find out you've been too Chuddy by labeling you as an AI scraper bot. Thanks to Xe, you will have to look at how Xe thinks Xe looks every time you want to use the internet now.

I think it's less that nerds, in general, are left-leaning and more that the vocal nerds who make themselves known have to constantly virtue signal by literally going, "I'm trans, btw," at every opportunity they get. as a last ditch attempt to try to salvage some of what I lost. recently my computers hard drive was pretty screwed, mainly since I was trying to do some driver stuff. as a result, it corrupted and all data is lost on it. so my tripcode, gem pass, password to the schlog, etc, are all gone, lost to time. though I have been able to get some of my account back, mainly cause I had recovery stuff enabled for them. all I am simply asking for is a Wii nand to use for dolphin whenever I am able to fix my computer, it is all i ask for and is really the only thing that isn't possible for me to get back, I could make it up to you if you can

If you really don't want to use the Terminal, then you're better off with the pirated gold edition. Use Lutris. It comes with a version of Wine with DXVK installed. Not much different from Proton. You can easily run an exe from a GUI

If you have the latest nvidia cards you need the cuda driver nvidia-open (which is not nouveau), mind that you need to learn how to verify the dkms status because if it fails you'll have to learn to pull it and install from tty eventually
