<A dark and vengeful Randian hero, willing to do whatever it takes to secure his and his family's freedom in defiance of the entire world, obvious (accidental or not [ev&oe they're incredibly blatant]) allegories for rejecting the post-WWII mythos and white guilt, Eren only having his own will, fate, and possibly God to rely on as he fought against insurmountable odds, it was just so damn good. The part that hurts for me is that I know I'll never get to see something like this get made again.
