You can create custom weapons… once I created one that had an insane fire rate and shot explosive energy rockets. I combined it with the power that stops time in a small radius, freezing anything that comes into contact with it. I shot at it for as long as it lasted, and when the power finally ended, my game lagged for like 3 minutes. When it unfroze it the sound it made was insane. Would recommend.

I’m glad based Nintendo hates e sportsball. Usually devs only listen to these competitive players and ruin every game for “balance”. E sports players are total fags and usually ruin every game they touch. I love reminding them that halo 2 and smash bros melee are casual party games meant for babies and getting quotes from the devs about how they made the games to be for babies and drunk retards to have parties while playing and that they are not serious sportsball games and watching them seethe.

TF2 players are pissed to this day about the changes Valve made to the game in the name of competitive.

From what I've seen its an absolute waste of time to try to please comp players. I play hoi4, and basically every comp game is modded and rulecucked to the point that the game is barely recognisable. Any change to please the competitive players is worthless if it even slightly detracts from casual play, as they won't give a shit as they will mod it to be the way they want, and ban the rest through rules.

I personally find smash bros a bit too competitive for a party game, even brawl. Its not a fault of the game, its just that all fighting games are like that. If one person has spent a gorillion hours on it they will curbstomp their friends and its no fun.

Mario kart is gemmy for party gaming doe. Give everyone a controller and they can all have fun if they've played for like 2 hours before in their lives. I sweat single player mario kart wii but thats just because I love the mechanic feel of the game, its still plenty of fun to play with my younger sister and the items mean that she has a rare chance to beat me. Also racing games are inherently better fitted to a party game role as you can do well independently of the other players doing well by being in front of the bots, while fighting games are too direct where if one person wins, the other necessarily loses.

Don't worry I play that as well. I grew up with wii and prefer the tighter drifting on the select motorbikes, nintendo has never brought it back for some reason.

Mario kart DS is probably my 2nd favourite, and Super circuit would be my 3rd. People hate the game so much for being Mode 7 but its still very pretty and you have the entirety of the SNES track selection as unlockables, so it has an absolute heap of content. I wouldn't recommend playing at more than 50cc doe because it gets slippery in feel.

This is the part that always confuses me. You can look at the achievements of every single game to see it's true. People will buy deluxe editions of games, or even just preorder standard editions months in advance, but something as simple as getting past the first third of the game is only completed by like 20-40% of the people who have ever played it. Normalfags don't buy games to play them, they buy them and use them as social status symbols. A financial transaction to say "I fit in!". 4chan's /v/ was completely dominated by this type of person a very long time ago. And you can tell because you can see them talk about a game you've completed and played a lot, and they're so far from the truth and get so many details wrong, you know for a fact they only watched someone livestream the game (or way back they watched Let's Plays).

I bought a PS3 like 6 months ago and have been pirating some games on it, and buying any that are cheap. I played some GTA IV and its good, and I'll play GTAV when I'm done with that just to see it. Nigga, if you wanna talk about the plot and Team Plasma you better not beat around the bush when it comes to how pretentiously retarded almost everyone in that organization was written out to be.
Everibaldi knows that BW1's plot is about the clash of ideals and manipulation of masses surrounding Plasma and the status quo of the region and Pokemon world. The problem lies on the fact that this is a Pokemon game, so they end up felling the need to shove in a nuke-tier kaiju (cough, cough, Opelucid city, cough) and a bunch of moronic quotable dorks as the main villains into the script. Ghetsis is just your archetypical tyrannical villain and the sages are literal whos who (you) only start to remember about when the game's plot is about to end and Interpol starts to actually do something.

A curious nuance to Bianca's plot is that in BW2 we see a similar situation when arriving to Virbank City but with the roles reversed.
Roxie's father wants to quit being a ship captain and become an actor despite the idea being clearly stupid and him being uncapable of acting, and with his daughter telling him not to. He makes a movie nobody likes, gets a reality check, goes back to being a ship captain, and reconciles with his daugher.
Is not a 1-1 with Bianca and her father but it's pretty close, and it's a much more mature take on senseless dreams you can't achieve than Bianca being a parasite who depends on others to fulfill her travel fantasy.

I tried Stalker Gamma because I played 2 for a few hours and people say it's the better game, but couldn't get it to run above 5-10 fps on my 4070 Ti Super rig so I ended up refunding whichever game it was you need for anomaly

play mods for the OG trilogy (hundreds of those, from early attempts at making a coherent story mod like Priboi Story to schizo shit like Narodnaya Solyanka/OP, simply pick your poison) (don't even touch NLC though, it was made with intent to make players suffer and develop legit schizophrenia in the process)
play vanilla Call of Chernobyl with some addons (or you could go for something like IWP, which is just a fancier vanilla CoC).

Poisoning of the well didn't start with Analmeme/TRONNA though.
First there was Misery for Call of Pripyat, then some fucks made Dead Air for Call of Chernobyl, which was pretty much just their own spin on Misery, just for sandbox gameplay of CoC.
Then Dead Air became dnb due to developers becoming dnb, so it leads to other retards taking remains of Dead Air, multiplying shitness factor 10x and calling it Anomaly.
And then nuGSC decided to make Stalker 2 with the priority of pleasing Analmeme/TROONNA retards who don't know what Stalker actually is.
