I personally didnt find much of a difference between GTA San Andreas and GTA Vice City in the regards of mission design. I feel like some missions are very overhated to some extent (wrong side of the track for example). I personally dislike gta iii though

i'm making a tfr submod for this very shit website, i'll document my progress here and take suggestions o algo

the mod will include all admins+possible admins, none of them will be able to stay as admin forever, you'll only be able to extend it. other paths will be included too like the feds/cordtroons. i'm torn between making the normgroids join soyjak party and making a 2 tier system where the normgroids of america are enslaved to soyteens.

the mod is currently in a state where i have the basic content done, from the perspective of any other coutnry you'll see soot's soyjak party fight against the southeast of the us and probably lose. what's remaining (90% of the actual work) is adding content so gameplay as it is actually enjoyable. no idea when i might get around to releasing it but i only started development a few weeks ago and i didn't have too much time so far

My hate for raytracing is largely based on how hard it's being pushed on us when we know the software isn't optimized and it's still crazy expensive to get acceptable framerates at 1440p. But it will eventually allow more developers to pull off very good lighting that only the top 5% of artists can pull off at the moment. And it will eventually be affordable when someone wakes up and realizes people can't actually afford/justify $1,000+ GPUs. Lighting is pretty basic and we generally want something somewhat realistic even in stylized games because it helps us orient ourselves within the game world. Shadows and light kind of act in expected ways. It's not really too open to style, it's more of a common sense thing. Heck, the original Toy Story movie has fairly realistic lighting when you factor in the technology restraints of the 90s, but the rest of the movie is clearly stylized. Look at basically every 3D movie. Lighting works a specific way because of physics.

But like I said before, DLSS5 and other AI nonsense is just a way to push a visual style easy and fast. It's not going to get too much better because the audience that will accept it is already praising it. The minimum bar has been hit, just like fast food 15-20 years ago. Now it's mainly about optimizing workflows so products can be pushed out with smaller teams and in a shorter amount of time to maximize profit. When the seals clap, your job is mostly done. Why waste money on doing better when the audience is already cheering? That would only cost you more time and money. It's exactly why animated Disney movies have looked more or less the same after The Princess and the Frog. It's good enough for the seals and saves you money. The truth is that most people aren't only fine with slop. They love it.

I played through the main game of celeste and enjoyed the platforming feel. I was completely unaware that the creator shoed in the character being a troon later. This is why you get traniggers saying "LOOK chud, everything was always transgender".

They're not brimstone but terraria is getting a lot of tranny love from the devs recently, and I guess starbound is adjacent. Stardew valley has a 'iggerhell faggot community but the game is pretty good and doesn't have fags in it, if the dev hasn't been bullied into changing it.
