Does anyone else here keep a dream journal?
I started keeping one recently and it's really fun.
Last night I dreamt that I went to a pub with a sign outside saying "Ages 18-25".
Except after entering and sitting down, I quickly came to the realisation that nobody else in the building was above the age of 12.
In the end, I didn't get to drink anything and spent the rest of the dream helping the children in there with their English homework instead.
I can interpret this dream in quite a few ways. My current job and upbringing definitely played a big part in causing me to have it.
However, because of the sign outside the pub and yesterday being the first time I've spent more than 5 minutes a day on the sharty since late February, I'm going to interpret the dream as a metaphor for my current feelings on the sharty.
The pub with its flagrantly ignored sign was obviously the sharty and its 18+ rule. The children inside represented my feelings of not fitting with the site's current userbase, due to using the site for much longer than them and being literally older than them. Not explaining the homework instead of drinking metaphor but I do see a clear meaning behind it.
