Itβs a curious thing how naming something can connect us through history and imagination. As I sit in my sunlit room, watching my magnificent cat, Marcus, napping effortlessly on the windowsill, I canβt help but wonder if he would be a good cat owner if he were a person. After all, I named him in homage to the great explorer Marco Polo, a man whose travels brought diverse cultures and flavors into the light of the Western world.
