i woke up at like 10:30 AM today since I went to bed at like 2 am and my body doesn't really like sleeping in for 14 hours a day like it used to enjoy before. anytime i wake up in the mornings i feel incredibly groggy and dazed for the first couple of minutes until I eventually get up and start feeling better. If I do not wake up within the first 5 minutes of me actually waking up, then I'm probably going to sleep for another 2 hours before my body wakes me up again.
anyways, i was doing shit normally for a couple of hours but i decided to get on my bed and do some work on my laptop since my posture is absolutely shit when using my computer and my back and neck started to hurt like hell.
doing the work was pretty fine for me, i was about an hour in until i randomly got this haze of sleepiness that washed over for me, i started to yawn a bit but powered through it since this happens a lot and i've just known to keep on doing what i do until it eventually goes away.
what really stumped me was being in the middle of my work and reading a paragraph over and over, trying to comprehend what it was saying, i kept reading something continuously trying to make sense of the otherwise straight-forward paragraph. out of nowhere, next thing i know i'm just asleep.
i don't even remember what happened inbetween me reading that paragraph and falling asleep but all i do remember is waking up 3 and a half hours later in my bed with my laptop infront of me. for context, whenever i was awake i think it was roughly 5 pm or so? the sun was REALLY bright outside. next thing i know i'm suddenly awake and it's 8:30 pm and it's nearly dark outside.
funny thing is, whenever i woke back up and logged onto my laptop to check the time, i re-read that paragraph i was struggling over and it was really easy to comprehend whenever i was awake
feels weird because i'm not even sure what could've triggered me being asleep, i believe it was honestly just me laying in bed but i felt like i probably would've had that same thing happen to me if i was on the couch or chair
–since i wasn't even in a comfortable position for me to sleep in.– or maybe it was me trying to do work that made me tired. probably the former but i definitely there's something wrong with me if i'm like this atp
