In my opinion they should take a step back and revert both.

My reasoning for the UI is that they added way too much at once. Adding one small change at a time is good as it gives the devs time get feedback and fix things that break. Pushing an entire do over of the booru at once will cause the entire thing to be riddled with bugs and look like dogshit to everyone that's used to the old UI.

As for the forum, idk man. We already have the shroom, and I think the booru should stay as a booru. It just adds unnecessary chaos makes the site overall harder to use. Not to mention it definitely needs a lot of polishing if it's intended to stay.
