Decent, enjoyable game.
Most of the fun is watching the human civs grow. I like throwing disasters at them like storms, zombie apocolypses and world bosses like dragons but also give them blessings and try to help. My goal is usually to maintain a healthy balance between elves, humans, orcs and dwarves while animals just chill in between. Though when kingdoms split and new ones form, I don't care if they survive.
I like to come up with various characters, including my personal OCs, Chad (All positive traits), Ogre (All positive physical traits, negative mental and health traits), Fortress (The 9999 health trait, no other ositives or negatives) or Slopjak (All negative traits) and watch them live their lives. These characters usually stand under divine protection from me but sometimes I can't save them all. The one who kills my characters usually get smitten by divine punishment afterwards.
The RPG mechanic is also fun to watch them go from LV 1 to 10, though the power ceiling of LV 10 is far too low. It should go to LV 100 where a creature (Most often humanoid but not always) that survives enough battles eventually becomes a legendary hero.
Sadly, there are no pigs or boars.
However the game does grow stale after a while because there is very little depth. Once civilisations have maxed out, it's just all the same all the time. Animals don't have any interesting mechanics at all and mostly exist as food or low level threats for humanoids.

Doesnβt have enough depth, sometimes I want a more hands on approach but you canβt really do that.

>>16806236the animals constantly go extinct due to hunting so unless you put them on a small ass island that no species can colonize there is no point of using them outside of trying to get new humanoid species by evolving them

>>16806286Yes, that's my point.
Animals are essentially worthless in this game.
Aggressive animals have the niche that they can protect elven civilisations, but only very early on as weapons and armor quickly outscale animals.

Except rats. They can wipe out civilisations.

I like making gladiators and having the kings of the nations fight it out, and sometimes I let a nation build an empire over the entire map and then have every province rebel and every nation fights each other
