Hello gooners and coomers.
<reddit space
I am making this thread because there has been an increased amount of thread sagers and derailers. Here is how to make a thread to make it not wiped.
<brap space
First, make the thread engaging, put a topic that you would like to discuss, and if people don't interact with the thread first, you could contribute to your own thread, this especially applies to "ITT" threads.
<derailer space
That is the first step done, the second step is stopping sagers and derailers. They will often to try to spam in the replies to either lag out the thread or make it as unusable as possible. You can enable Poster IDs so you can hide the replies of any posters from a certain ID by clicking on the arrow on the left side of their name, go to Add Filter and click on ID to hide the ID, as it is usually one person that does this. Additionally, you can counter the sage/supersage by either replying to the thread, negating the sage, or you could also bump the thread.

Now the hardest part is keeping the thread at the top of the page and stopping it from getting catty wiped, all threads die eventually, but in order to prolong the thread's existence, you can do things such as bumping the thread and actively engaging with it, you can keep the thread interesting so it doesn't become a DNB thread, etc.

Hopefully through this, the future threads at /nate/ will last a little longer and we can keep things under control. In case things don't go as planned with the threads or the threads don't adapt, I may have to send this message a few more times until everyone gets it.
